Why Do Some Products Have a Minimum Order Quantity?
At SaveYourLegs, we try to make our pricing as straightforward and competitive as possible. Some of our products, however, have a minimum order quantity (MOQ) or a separate delivery charge.
The reason is simple: transportation.
Many of the products we supply—particularly classroom tables, replacement table tops, folding tables, staging and larger items of furniture—are too large or bulky to send economically through a normal parcel carrier. They need to be transported securely on a pallet or by a specialist furniture delivery service.
Why does this affect the minimum quantity?
The cost of sending a pallet containing one or two tables can be very similar to the cost of sending a pallet containing several tables.
Rather than build a disproportionately high delivery cost into the price of every individual product, we sometimes specify a minimum order quantity that makes pallet delivery economical.
This allows us to keep the actual product price competitive without compromising the way your furniture is transported.
