Churchdown Primary School – 130 Old Classroom Tables Transformed in One Day

The classroom tables at Churchdown Primary School in Gloucester had seen many years of use. Although the frames were still perfectly serviceable, the table tops were badly worn, with damaged, loose and in some cases missing edges.

Rather than replace the complete tables, the school chose to fit new replacement table tops.

A dramatic transformation

The difference was immediate. Replacing the worn tops completely changed the appearance of the tables and helped transform the look of the school, while retaining the existing frames.

Around 130 table tops were replaced in a single day by just two members of staff, demonstrating how quickly a large number of classroom tables can be refurbished.

More than just saving money

There was another benefit that particularly appealed to the school.
